We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our kitchen and service operations in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional with a strong contract catering background who thrives in a hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen and service operations
Deliver high-quality, fresh staff meals
Manage menus, ordering, stock control and food cost targets
Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergens, HACCP and health & safety standards
Supervise, train and motivate the catering team
Complete daily administrative duties using PC systems
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
About You
Experienced Chef with a contract catering background
Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively
Confident managing food safety, allergens and compliance procedures
Skilled in budgeting, stock control and achieving financial targets
Comfortable completing office duties and using computer systems
Customer-focused, professional and relationship-driven
Reliable, hands-on and calm under pressure with a can-do attitude
