SUMMARY Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide ongoing care to patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: � Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients � Develop and implement individualised treatment plans � Prescribe and adjust medications as needed � Monitor and track patient progress � Provide counselling and therapy to patients � Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care � Stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of psychiatry � Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE � Medical degree and completion of psychiatry residency program � Valid license to practice psychiatry in the UK � Board certification in psychiatry preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: � Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatments, and medications � Excellent communication and interpersonal skills � Ability to work effectively in a team environment � Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care � Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other patient record management systems CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: � FRCPsych � GMC Full Licence to Practice and on the Specialist Register � Certificate of Personal Medical Indemnity WORKING CONDITIONS: � In person face to face � Virtual online Consultations � Telephone consultations
