We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in international trade, providing essential support in overseeing shipments and sourcing critical materials.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and optimise supplier relationships
* Negotiate contracts and identify cost saving opportunities
* Contribute to strategic sourcing ny identifying local suppliers and reducing import costs
* Liaise with international customers, maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Oversee all shipments leaving the warehouse, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
* Ensure all shipments are charged correctly and accompanied by the correct documents.
* Keep customers updated on the status of their shipments and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
