To drive this mission, we are seeking a Packaging Application Engineer within the Nonwovens sector. This role is pivotal in supporting their customers by helping them design, optimize, and implement packaging solutions using their materials. The position involves significant travel to customer sites to provide hands-on expertise and support.
Optimize Packaging Solutions:
Collaborate with customers to optimize the performance of our packaging materials on MERZSystem or similar machines.
Setup and Commissioning:
~ Assist customers in setting up and commissioning MERZSystem or similar packaging machines, ensuring seamless integration with our materials.
Training and Education:
Provide training to customers and prospects on maximizing the performance of their packaging machines with our materials.
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers and internal teams on the optimal use and maintenance of these machines.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Deliver ongoing technical support to customers using MERZSystem or similar machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve compatibility and performance issues to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work closely with Product Development, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure our materials are designed for compatibility with customer machines.
Identify and address quality issues related to material performance on these machines.
Expertise in packaging engineering, particularly with automated systems such as:
Pre-Made Pouch Bagging Machines
Horizontal Form, Fill, and Seal (HFFS) Machines
Vertical Form, Fill, and Seal (VFFS) Machines
Flow Wrapping Machines
Stickpack and Sachet Packaging Machines
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A valid driving license and passport to facilitate frequent travel to customer sites.
