We have an amazing opportunity for a confident graduate, who wants to enter the world of international finance and join our Operations team as a Settlements Executive.
The Role
The successful candidate for this role will be a crucial cog in the smooth running of the day to day operational activities. This is a hugely varied role where candidates can expect the role to include activities such as liaising with corporate and private clients and ensuring timely settlements of FX trades.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates can expect the role to include but not be limited:
* Preparing and monitoring cash transfers for transaction accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Ensuring the accurate and timely execution and delivery of client and bank instructions within strict cut-off times
* Managing inbound and outbound payment instructions on behalf of clients, maintaining high standards of efficiency
* Conducting daily internal and external reconciliation across multiple banking platforms to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for
* Investigating and resolving issues with failed or non-received incoming and outgoing FX payments for transaction accounts and clients
* Liaising with Banks and Custodians daily to ensure that all trades and payments are completed and/or settled within the designated timelines
* Addressing and resolving queries from brokers and clients in a timely and professional manner
* Ensuring all trades are booked, matched, and captured accurately and promptly within the relevant systems
* Generating and dispatching trade confirmations to counterparties, ensuring consistency and accuracy
So What Are We Looking For?
* A minimum of a second-class honours degree (a relevant degree is preferred, but not essential)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Prior relevant experience is preferred but not essential
* Confidence to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a supportive team environment
