Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator (Coach Builder) – Nottinghamshire
Basic salary circa £50,000, OTE £55,000+. Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime available at enhanced rate.
We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator to join a busy and professional commercial bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. This position is ideal for a skilled, old‑school coach builder who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and has strong experience working with light and heavy commercial vehicles.

What you’ll be doing as a Coach Builder / Fabricator:
* Carrying out body fitting and fabrication work on light and heavy commercial vehicles
* Strip and refit of commercial vehicle body components
* Repairing and replacing panels, structural components, and bodywork
* Welding, fabrication, and coach building tasks to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards
* Working with workshop teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high-quality finish
What we’re looking for the Coach Builder / Fabricator role:
* Qualified Body Fitter, Fabricator, or Coach Builder
* Strong experience working on commercial vehicles (HGV, vans, or specialist vehicles)
* Skilled in fabrication, welding, and structural body repairs
* Experience within a commercial bodyshop or accident repair environment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
