We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to support the day-to-day maintenance, operational running, and security of the site and its facilities. This role involves ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained, while providing a professional and responsive service to staff and visitors.
Please note: This position requires working during holiday periods and outside of term time.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out building fabric repairs, adjustments, installations, and removals.
Undertake and record weekly checks, ensuring all maintenance work is completed on time and in line with Health & Safety standards.
Manage site security, including unlocking and locking doors, and ensuring the premises remain secure and accessible.
Liaise with and monitor contractors, including cleaning teams.
Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, customers, and clients.
Report any incidents that may affect service delivery or customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in facilities management or a similar caretaking role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
Flexible and adaptable to handle a wide range of tasks within skill set.
