A client within the Public Sector based in Lancashire is currently recruiting for a Chartered Surveyor to join their Surveying & Valuations Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a surveying or property services environment. The Role The key purpose of the role is to provide high-quality surveying services, valuations, and professional property advice across a range of residential and commercial properties, supporting the organisation’s property portfolio and ensuring compliance with RICS standards. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Producing high-quality Surveys, RICS Red Book reports, and property valuations. Undertaking property inspections across residential and commercial buildings. Managing caseloads effectively and ensuring reports are delivered on time in line with client Terms of Business. Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. Attending team meetings and providing regular updates on caseload, progress, and client instructions.
