Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental goals
- Serve as a role model for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People standards
- Develop team competencies and production processes to deliver industry-leading products
- Ensure operators are adequately trained and training documentation is up-to-date
- Champion Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, 8 Waste Reduction, TPM, and TOTEM
- Ensure operators have the correct equipment for daily tasks
- Liaise with supervisors to meet capacity and order commitments
- Manage maintenance requests and ensure work procedures are followed
- Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious work environment
- Select, guide, evaluate, and develop employees to achieve business objectives
About You:
- Level 5 Qualification or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within production
- Proven ability to lead a department, processes, or projects
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- In-depth knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within production
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Methodical and structured approach to planning, reporting, and organisation
- Experience with SAP business systems is a plus
