About the Role
A leading global technology company is looking for a talented and experienced Communications Manager to join its European team, supporting the launch and promotion of cutting-edge wearable technologies, including smart glasses. This role is ideal for a communications professional with a passion for innovation, storytelling, and emerging tech like AR and AI.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and implement integrated marketing communications across owned, earned, and social media.
* Lead proactive communications for augmented reality (AR) products and manage reactive communications for AI initiatives.
* Create compelling content for blogs, media posts, and press materials.
* Organize and manage press events, including briefing and preparing spokespeople.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing, policy, and content.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media and agency partners.
* Tailor messaging for European markets, with a focus on Italy and Spain.
* Support internal communications and storytelling across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in communications, ideally within the consumer hardware or tech sector.
* Strong interest in AR/AI technologies and their societal impact.
* Exceptional writing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse European audiences.
* Deep understanding of the EMEA media landscape, especially in Italy and Spain.
* Experience managing social media channels and content strategies.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
