Recovery Support Worker - Rehabilitation Service, based in Burnley, Lancashire. Brand new Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service Inspiring Minds East.
Salary £12.60 per hour. Hours 35 per week, shifts 8am - 3pm and 3pm - 10pm. This is a brand new service and you will be joining a new team. The service contains 9 beds and provides intermediate short term rehabilitation support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum. It is designed to be a personalised, interactive and collaborative process that reflects the whole person and aims to enable individuals to maximise their potential to live a full and active life within their family, social networks, education/training and the workplace where appropriate, in the context of their mental health and promote recovery.

Responsibilities
As a Recovery Support Worker, you will:
* Provide compassionate, person-centred and recovery-focused care and support
* Help individuals build resilience, coping strategies and self-management skills
* Empower individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being in the long term
* Foster partnerships, signpost, and make referrals to ensure access to specialist, universal, and targeted support

Qualifications
* Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
* Previous experience of working within a mental health setting and knowledge of working with people with a variety of complex needs
* On joining, you will receive on-the-job training with the possibility to undertake professional qualifications if required for your role
