Summary
This role is part of the B2B Services Architecture team, focused on designing network solutions for B2B connectivity services.
Key responsibilities
* For the B2B products you support, maintain an information library accessible to technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Help demand owners and business analysts develop the product vision and technically valid high‑level requirements based on technical and budget constraints.
* Understand customers or consumers of your work, what they need to know, and how they will use the information.
* Create network architectures and high‑level designs in response to demand owners’ needs.
* Work with platform and system specialists to form an E2E product solution from customer premises through access, edge and core networks, centralised services platforms and key OSS/BSS.
* Define and document solutions that enable delivery by downstream teams, consulting throughout the product development process.
Must haves
* Role‑relevant qualifications such as CCIE‑SP, Nokia SRA, MEF‑CECP, AWS Certified Solution Architect or equivalent.
* Excellent understanding of B2B products/services and the technologies that underpin them.
* Significant experience in a Service Provider environment.
* Demonstrable knowledge of data and voice networking products and technologies at senior technical level.
* Strong knowledge of XGS‑PON, HFC/DOCSIS and xDSL technologies.
* Ability to produce technically accurate, clear and concise documents, diagrams and presentations.
* Effective communication skills to a variety of audiences, both technical and non‑technical.
* Ability to interact effectively at all levels of a large organisation.
Other qualification preferences
* Experience in a technical business services architecture role.
* Knowledge of Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration technologies.
