We're looking for a Senior Metrology/Calibration Engineer to join a world-leading engineering and technology organisation in Norfolk - supporting accredited calibrations across newly manufactured and existing high‑performance products. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a globally recognised calibration team, ensuring absolute accuracy and reliability in every measurement.
The Role
* Perform and develop calibration methods and techniques for high‑level instrumentation.
* Conduct uncertainty analysis, control charting, and statistical process control to maintain precision.
* Review calibration results and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the maintenance and improvement of the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and accreditation.
* Design and develop automated test and measurement systems to enhance efficiency and consistency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all calibration and measurement processes.
What We're Looking For
* BSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent calibration training/experience.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a metrology or calibration environment (preferably ISO/IEC 17025‑accredited).
* Familiarity with MET/CAL software and/or programming in C#, VB, Java, or Python for automation and data analysis.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
* A strong communicator who thrives in a team‑driven, quality‑focused environment.
* Highly organised, self‑motivated, and meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.
