Special Needs Teaching Assistant – SEN School in Maidenhead

They are a large, vibrant special school committed to providing outstanding education and care for children and young people aged 2–19 with a wide range of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, and complex medical conditions. They are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in the classroom and during activities
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and medical needs where required
* Implement individual learning plans and behaviour strategies
* Use visual aids, sensory tools, and communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton)
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support
* Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or personal experience welcomed)
