Role Overview:
Join the future of fun as a VR Arcade Host We're looking for friendly, reliable, and tech-curious team members to help deliver unforgettable virtual reality experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll welcome customers, guide them through VR games, and ensure everyone has a safe and exciting time. No prior VR experience is required—just a great attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service:
* Greet guests warmly and assist with bookings and check-ins.
* Guide customers through safety briefings and how to use VR equipment.
* Offer tips and encouragement during gameplay to maximise the experience.
* Handle basic customer questions and escalate issues when needed.
* VR Support:
* Set up and calibrate VR headsets and controllers.
* Ensure all play areas and equipment are clean, tidy, and functioning.
* Help troubleshoot minor technical issues (training provided).
* Sales & Promotion:
* Promote additional game time, group packages, and merchandise.
* Encourage customer reviews and return visits.
* General Duties:
* Assist with keeping the arcade clean and presentable.
* Help with stock and restocking items like refreshments or accessories.
* Support team members during busy periods and special events.
Key Requirements:
* A friendly, confident, and customer-focused personality.
* Comfortable working in a tech and gaming environment.
* Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail.
* Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
* Aged 18+ (some VR experiences may have age restrictions for operation).
Desirable (but not required):
* Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or entertainment venues.
* Interest in gaming, VR, or interactive tech.
* Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
