Job Title: Adults Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £53,200 (depending on experience) plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Contract: Permanent - 52 weeks.
We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our clinical division, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for adults with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs. You will work collaboratively to implement holistic, therapeutic approaches and maintain regulatory and professional guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all aspects of Speech and Language Therapy clinical duties, including individual assessments, interventions and documentation such as reports.
* Provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.
* Collaborate with clinical teams to maintain a nurturing environment and safeguarding culture.
* Ensure adults are safe, comfortable and healthy through evidence-based practice.
Essential Criteria
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* 1–2 years’ experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT in a similar setting
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities
* Ability to work independently under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional teams or services within the designated specialty
* Previous experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
