Role overview
We are looking for a candidate with a qualification in Social Work and experience in leadership roles within safeguarding services. The successful candidate will have oversight of safeguarding locality teams and the Children with Disability teams. Experience of delivering services for children with disabilities and an understanding of SEND is desirable but not essential. You will report to the Head of Service (Safeguarding), continue to develop and lead responsive social care teams for children and families, and maintain a visible leadership role within the service area. You will set high standards, deliver excellent practice, and motivate teams to do the same. You will oversee social work interventions to support positive outcomes for children and families.
