Shifts: 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern Location: Barnsley, s74 Job Type: Ongoing position. Pay rates: * Weekdays: £17.21 * Weekday nights: £18.59 * Saturday day: £18.87 * Saturday night: £21.69 * Sunday day: £19.20 * Sunday night: £22.96 The role: · Perform non-stop shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations. · Safely manoeuvre vehicles in tight and busy spaces. · Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. · Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. · Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow. · Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team. · Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements. · Assist with other yard duties as needed.
