We are currently looking for a number of enthusiastic self employed van delivery drivers to join our team to deliver parcels for DPD. Experience is preferred, however this is not essential as training will be provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our customers in a timely manner. The Delivery Driver must have a valid driver's license with no more than 6 points on it and be able to operate a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to follow instructions, and possess the ability to think quickly and make decisions on the fly.
Responsibilities:
* Drive a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
* Load and unload packages from the vehicle.
* Deliver packages to customers in a timely manner.
* Follow directions from dispatch and customer service representatives.
* Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Working Van, Insurance and Fuel provided
Business operates 7 days a week with different working patterns in Ipswich area.
Qualifications
* Full driving licence (held for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points)
