Role: PLC-Scada Engineer
Location: United Kingdom (Various Locations)
Join Actemium Automation to develop, program, and maintain SCADA systems and PLC control solutions for industrial automation projects. You will own technical responsibilities, ensure seamless operation of custom automation systems, and provide technical support to clients while identifying risks and ensuring systems meet critical performance requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop SCADA systems and program PLCs for various automation projects
* Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Understand and define critical processes and technical requirements
* Document system design specifications to ensure clear communication
* Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for custom solutions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work in collaborative, dynamic environments
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Integrated Manufacturing, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems
* Proven ability to design, test, and support automation systems, PLC programming, and human-machine interface software
* Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
* Flexibility to travel as needed to support project requirements
