Quality Assurance Technician Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Hours: 5 days out of 7 (flexibility required) Contract Type: Permanent The Quality Assurance (QA) role supports the Technical Department in ensuring that food safety, quality, and compliance standards are met throughout the production process. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards across production areas. Key Responsibilities Complete and verify all quality and technical documentation, including start-up checks, batch codes, and temperature logs. Monitor production lines for product quality, correct labelling, and specification compliance. Check ingredients, raw materials, and finished products for shelf life and temperature accuracy. Conduct hygiene, GMP, and PPE compliance checks across all departments. Support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP and BRC systems. Perform testing such as ATP, gluten, and environmental swabbing as required. Investigate and close out customer complaints in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain up-to-date supplier and service provider documentation and certifications. Raise, manage, and close non-conformances and concessions.
