HR Assistant
We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy HR department. Reporting to the Head of HR and Culture via the Deputy HR Manager, the role involves providing high‑quality administrative and operational support across the full employee life‑cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, reporting and general employee relations. This varied and rewarding role is for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering an efficient, confidential HR service.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support across the full employee life‑cycle.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, reporting and general employee relations.
* Manage competing priorities, handle sensitive personal data appropriately, and support the HR department.
Key qualifications:
* Experience in a fast‑paced HR or administrative environment.
* Strong ability to manage competing priorities while handling sensitive personal data appropriately.
* Excellent IT skills: spreadsheets, databases, word processing.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* GCSEs (Grade 4 or above) in Maths and English.
* Relevant business or HR qualification at Level 3, or willingness to work towards it.
* Good understanding of employment law, strong organisational skills, professional customer‑focused approach.
