Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Veritas Education is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant at an Outstanding SEN School specializing in ASD and non-verbal students. We are interested in candidates with an interest or experience in working with SEN students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students' holistic development.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to staff.
* Manage behaviour confidently using de-escalation strategies.
* Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum to support student learning.
* Maintain an optimistic outlook and determination to make a difference in children's education.
Application Requirements for Veritas Education:
* Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with safeguarding policies.
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment; all employment gaps should be explained.
* Legal right to work in the UK is required.
* Willingness to attend a registration interview is necessary.
