Job Description
The Head of Finance Business Partnering is a newly created role within this large Not for Profit organisation.Reporting to the CFO, the HOBP will work closely with Senior Stakeholders across the organisation to provide strategic financial advice. Your guidance will help ensure that budgets are effectively managed and that financial plans are both realistic and ambitious.Key responsibilities will include;
3. You will lead and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive the achievement of strategic financial objectives.
4. Lead the Finance Business Partnering teams to set and monitor budgets, delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial information, support, and advice across the organisation.
5. Ensure delivery of an excellent, consistent, and relevant service to stakeholders.
6. Lead on delivery of efficiency savings ensuring that costs are minimised across all areas of service operations to support the financial sustainability of the organisation.
7. Communicate and present analysis of financial information, tailoring management reports for the needs and understanding of the recipient(s).
8. Produce and implement a robust monitoring system that measures performance against key targets and identifies material financial variances.
9. Oversee and ensure the five-year budgets are prepared for consolidation into the organisations medium term financial plan
10. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and project monitoring reports to the organisations Executive and other stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Finance Business Partnering should have:
11. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
12. Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
13. Senior Leadership experience
14. Good people management skills
15. Excellent technical Accounting skills
16. Activity based costing experience
17. Ideally Large complex organisation experience
