Job Description:
Senior Instrument and Controls Engineer - Oil & Gas
Location: Belfast
Type: Contract
Provide day-to-day technical support including installation and fault diagnosis of instrumentation and control equipment and systems.
Ensure all instrumentation and control systems and equipment are maintained according to relevant standards.
Coordinate with offshore operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of plant instruments, control systems, and equipment.
Maintain documentation in accordance with operational procedures, safety principles, and legal requirements through audits.
Monitor plant instruments, control systems (including software), and equipment performance, providing recommendations to improve reliability.
Maintain comprehensive records of performance, trends, and failures.
Review and implement planned maintenance programs to meet statutory and OEM requirements.
