Your day – to – day at Paragon Every day is different, but your role could include: Providing trauma-informed care that makes children feel safe and supported Building positive relationships and encouraging healthy routines Supporting education, daily life skills, and personal development Preparing meals and attending medical or community appointments Advocating for young people and ensuring their voices are heard Using your own car to transport children when required Helping them develop the confidence to move forward with hope What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young people ( paid or voluntary ) A full UK driving licence and access to your own car Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (including nights, weekends, and sleep-ins) A clear enhanced DBS ( or willingness to obtain one ) A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
