Content Executive

Connells Group is the UK’s largest and most successful estate agency and property services group. We are looking for a solid Content Executive to play a pivotal role in our Marketing, PR and Communications team, crafting compelling content for varied channels and audiences, you’ll have a good understanding of SEO, B2B blog writing, copywriting for websites, internal communications, social channels and press releases.

The role is based 3-days a week in our London office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and applicants must be able to travel to the office.

Duties include:

1. Supporting our internal communications, external B2C and B2B comms and the Press Office.
2. Craft engaging copy: Write clear, informative and engaging copy for various channels, including B2C blogs, email, press releases, internal communications, Group website, and B2B social media posts.
3. Tailor messaging: Adapt your writing style to connect with different target audiences, from customers/consumers to estate agents, lettings agents, mortgage brokers and regional journalists.
4. Collaborate with creatives: Work closely with our internal comms team, marketing team and PR Manager.
5. Proofread and polish: A good attention to detail – you’ll ensure the content created is factually correct and of value to the audiences available.
6. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and impeccable grammar in all written materials.
7. SEO optimisation: Apply SEO principles to maximise the reach and impact of your copy.
8. Explore future efficiencies, through engagement and use of AI platforms.
9. Build and maintain relationships internally across the business as well as with some journalists.
10. Support the PR Manager pitching interesting and attractive properties to regional and national press.
11. Be able to draw value for multiple channels from a single piece of content, turning it to suit a variety of audiences.

Requirements and Skills:

12. Experience: Minimum of two years in copywriting or a related field.
13. Copywriting skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content.
14. Language proficiency: Strong command of English.
15. Research and analytical skills: Dig deep to uncover compelling stories and understand what our audiences want to hear about.
16. Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective.
17. Attention to detail: Meticulously proofread and edit your work.
18. Effective communication: Collaborate seamlessly with team members.
