About the Role
Would you like to be part of the Guide Dogs family and assist those with sight loss to live full, independent lives? We need volunteers to support our mission of providing life-changing guide dogs, advice, and practical support to individuals and families affected by sight loss.
Volunteer Responsibilities
* Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising activities such as street collections, fairs, tea parties, garden sales, and sponsored events.
* Participate in group meetings and community outreach.
* Manage collection boxes at local businesses.
* Help track sales and donations at events.
Who is this role suitable for?
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, engaging with their community, and are confident speaking to others to promote Guide Dogs.
Training and Support
No prior experience is necessary. Full training and ongoing support are provided, including an induction and role-specific training. Volunteers will have a dedicated staff contact for support.
Additional Details
Travel expenses are covered upon submission of expenses form. Volunteers need to be available on any day of the week and at any time of day, as the role is flexible.

Note
Guide Dogs will be closed on Monday, 5th May for the bank holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, 6th May.
