We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 35 hours/week) client care adviser to join our cardiology referral team. This will be a mainly client facing role and will also include organising referral appointments plus dealing with insurance claims. The role will include delivery of an excellent, client-focused service to Cheshire Cardiology, visitors and employees. We are looking for someone highly organised with attention to detail.
Situated in Northwich, between Manchester and Liverpool, is the shiny new home of Cheshire Cardiology. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team. You will be responsible for attending to clients and dealing with enquiries over the phone and face to face. You will be given training on co-ordinating referral appointments for the Specialist led cardiology referral service. There will be administrative tasks and you will work to support our practice administrator helping with processing insurance claims and organising CPD events. The rota includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with TOIL. The successful candidate will ensure an excellent, friendly and efficient service is provided to Cheshire Cardiology's clients, visitors and employees. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and highly organised candidate to join our friendly team.
Ideally, we would like a minimum of 2 years' veterinary experience, either reception or nursing.

Salary £26,000-£29,000 per annum full-time or pro rata (salary dependent on experience).
Holiday allowance 5 weeks plus bank holidays pro rata.

Responsibilities
* Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
* Schedule cardiology referral appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
* Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries regarding services, treatments, and pet care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.
* Assist in postage of medications, ensuring all samples are handled and priced correctly.
* Provide information for referring vets, pet owners and breeders regarding the referral process.
* Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
* Keep the reception area organised and tidy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for clients.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a veterinary setting is highly desirable; a passion for animal care is crucial.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Familiarity with the veterinary referral industry is an advantage.
* Proficient in using Cloud-based computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
