Our Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We’re currently looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. The team shapes and optimises the project Portfolios, ensuring strategic alignment, enhancing decision-making, and providing evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation, with development opportunities and strong support from your team and peers.
You will be an important part of the PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project and programme managers across our portfolio, helping to set the standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help our teams to identify, value and validate their project benefits.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers to shape and optimise portfolios.
* Set and embed standards for benefits and value management across the portfolio.
* Help teams identify, value and validate project benefits.
* Support change, transformation and continuous improvement across the business as part of the Transformation Team within the STA directorate.
* Collaborate across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
Experience and Skills
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability, able to work independently or in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Collaborative approach with diverse teams and a commitment to inclusion.
Working Arrangements
* Hybrid working location; EA Office base with national scope.
* Some travel and overnights may be required; smart tools help reduce travel.
