Front of House Receptionist – 4 days a week; 10.30am – 6.00pm
My client seeks a professional and energetic Front of House Receptionist to be the main point of contact for visitors to a prestigious Grade I listed building in Central London.
The role sits within the Premises team and is responsible for managing the reception desk, providing exceptional service to all visitors, and supporting venue hire operations.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in running a high-end venue in one of London’s most desirable locations. You will also provide occasional administrative support to senior management as required.
The successful candidate will be presentable, reliable, and confident in delivering excellent customer service. You will be a key representative of the organisation and play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the building.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Manage the front desk and act as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants.
 * Handle venue hire enquiries and coordinate bookings efficiently.
 * Provide administrative support to senior staff as needed.
 * Ensure the reception area and communal spaces are maintained to a high standard.
 * Liaise with internal teams and external clients to support the smooth operation of the venue.
Person Specification:
 * Proven experience in a customer-facing or front-of-house role within a professional setting.
 * Professional, well-presented, and reliable, with excellent spoken and written English.
 * A degree in any subject or equivalent professional experience.
 * Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
 * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
 * A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required.
 * Must be based in London and able to work on site full-time.
