Ink Lab Technician - Permanent - Cumbernauld

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ink Lab team as an Ink Lab Technician.
Role & Responsibilites:
* Formulating and preparing inks to company standards
* Producing inks to meet production requirements
* Controlling stocks and ensuring inks and coatings are available at all presses
* Minimising waste
* Achieving agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards
* Ensuring presses have required inks and varnishes for production
* Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and print procedures are followed at all times
* Ensuring ink lab surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy
Experience & Skills:
* Ability to work under own initiative and collectively as a team
* Excellent attention to detail, including colour
* Proficient in numeracy and literacy
* Reliable with excellent timekeepign
* Flexible approach to changing work priorities and an ability to work to strict deadlines
This job will involve manual handling and treble shift working, working across a pattern of back shift, early shift, and night shift.
