About The Role
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and committed academic capable of teaching on the MA Corruption and Governance (delivered on campus and online) and potentially on final year undergraduate corruption-related modules.
Given the online and campus-based teaching components, candidates who are only able to undertake online teaching are considered, provided they are based in the UK.
About You
You will possess a PhD or be close to completing one (or an equivalent qualification) and ideally have relevant experience. You should demonstrate high-quality teaching performance in the specialised field of corruption analysis.
About Our Division/School
Politics is a research-led department with excellent research and teaching records. It hosts 20 faculty members and around 600 students. The department offers a Masters in Corruption and Governance, with both on-campus and online options. It is home to the Sussex European Institute and the Centre for the Study of Corruption, with research strengths in British politics, party politics, citizenship, migration, populism, anti-politics, and protest politics. In the latest REF, 96% of outputs were rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. The department’s GPA increased from 2.90 in 2014 to 3.38 in 2021. Our NSS scores have also improved, with 85% positive responses.
