You will be working as part of the Property and Support Services team and you will undertake work to rectify minor faults on building services plant and mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment.\n\nThis vacancy is only open to those applicants who will be aged 16-24\nyears (or 16-29 years for disabled applicants or those that are care\nexperienced*) on 1st of August 2025. Diagnose and repair minor faults on engineering and/or electrical equipment.\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance using job cards provided, completing all records and documentation required.\nWork to NHSLâs Health and Safety and Technical Policies and Procedures.\nWhere required will carryout complete boiler house log sheets, recording readings and activity within the plant area.\nCarry out safety and routine testing of controls and communication systems including Portable Appliance testing Required to apply Local Electrical rules as per HTM 202. \nUse of hand tools necessary for the tasks allocated.\nComplete all records as required by the performance management system.\nComplete boiler house log sheets recording temperatures, fuel consumption, and steam consumption and steam pressures.
