We are recruiting an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Banca di Roma, an established Italian restaurant based in Glasgow.
This role is permanently based in Glasgow, Scotland, and is ideal for a confident, hands-on Head Chef who is happy to relocate if currently based elsewhere in the UK.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the kitchen operation at our Glasgow restaurant, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, team performance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for all kitchen operations in our Glasgow site
Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team
Menu development and seasonal updates
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Managing stock control, ordering, and food costs
Performing under pressure during busy services
Using feedback to continuously improve kitchen performance
