What You'll Do
* Source and identify suppliers for electrical and electronic components.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
* Place and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
* Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
* Work closely with engineering and production teams on product needs.
* Manage the procurement process and resolve supply chain issues.
* Stay updated on market trends and new technologies.
* Manage inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.
* Address quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
* Handle End of Life and Last Time Buy components and maintain purchasing dashboards.
What You Need to Succeed
* Degree or equivalent desirable in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
* CIPS Qualified or working towards
* Purchasing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Experience in Low-Cost Country Sourcing e.g. Asia and Eastern Europe
* Confident in SAP, Power BI and other tools to develop reports and dashboards
