Overview
We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Wilmslow Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this position are 18 per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is a must.
Responsibilities
* Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
* Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
* Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW
* Till operation and serving customers
* Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
* Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
* Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Qualifications
* Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
* Knowledgeable and passionate about plants and plant related products
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Great teamwork

* Shift flexibility including weekends
* The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
