ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager with a proven ability to identify, win and grow new business opportunities. You bring a strong track record of building client relationships, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering measurable revenue growth. Strategic yet hands‑on, you thrive in a target‑driven environment, proactively manage your pipeline, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver value‑led, client‑focused solutions.
Required skills and experience:
1. Knowledge of Marine industry and relevant legislation
2. Knowledge of Petroleum Products, as a marine fuel, and their properties
3. Excellent verbal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external customer’s
4. Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
5. Proficiency in IT skills
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in identifying and developing new customer and service opportunities, while also managing key accounts within designated geographical regions. The role requires attendance at industry‑relevant conferences and exhibitions to stay informed of market developments and evolving legislation.
6. Identify and develop business opportunities within assigned geographical regions.
7. Prepare quotations and tenders.
8. Arrange regular account meetings for designated clients.
9. Prepare technical and/or business presentations to be delivered at client meetings / conferences.
10. Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding of clients, providing exemplary customer service.
11. Attend industry conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
12. Provide feedback, to relevant departments, from client meetings and industry events.
13. Assist with marketing activities.
