Lookers Volkswagen Teesside are recruiting for a Bodyshop Technician to join their fantastic facility, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle repairs using the latest technology. Here at Lookers Teesside, you will report to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will give on-going support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. Our Bodyshop Technicians play a vital role within our Aftersales team by delivering first class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success. If you’re timed served or a qualified Bodyshop/Cosmetic Technician, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing and fitting parts to damaged vehicles Act as a multiskilled Cosmetic Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of repair's as required Work effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop Technicians Full use of PPE and adherence to health and safety requirement when carrying out repairs Adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Bodyshop/Cosmetic technician. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards and also require a full UK driving license. Having previous experience of working with brand would be advantageous, although not essential as supportive training can be provided.
