Salary: GBP140 - GBP220 per day (Depending on Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist provision in Huddersfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is committed to making a real difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs, including pupils with ASC, SEMH, MLD and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individual learners.
Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, support staff and families to ensure holistic support for each pupil.
Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Contribute to EHCP processes, reviews and personalised support plans.
Support positive behaviour strategies and encourage emotional regulation and wellbeing.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
Experience working within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential).
Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Patience, resilience and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
