Responsibilities include:
1. Develop improvements to the safety management system
2. Consult, develop, implement and maintain health and safety procedures that meet the requirements of RHP Group
3. Develop and implement training to support RHP Group in meeting procedural requirements
4. Complete an internal audit programme
5. Provide advice and support to bring about best practices in safety
6. Deliver an options appraisal for the safety management IT solution and develop new opportunities to improve through IT usage, reducing manual interventions
7. Develop meaningful health and safety key performance indicators to monitor compliance
8. Implement an independent auditing programme
9. Procure health and safety contracts ensuring quality and value for money
10. Deliver the strategic health and safety plan
11. Create initiatives to increase health and safety awareness among customers, contractors, and employees
12. Lead health and safety compliance meetings with main contractors and support contract managers
How you’ll do it
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
1. Collaborating to reduce health and safety risks
2. Developing and implementing processes and procedures with operational teams
3. Delivering engaging health and safety training
4. Holding a similar role elsewhere
5. Delivering strategic plans
6. Analyzing and presenting health and safety data
7. Level 6 in Health and Safety and CertIOSH qualification
