The role
You will lead a busy kitchen in a premium gastro pub, that is part of an award winning National fresh-food gastro pub group
You will have real freedom to shape menus, backed by strong group support.
Menu changes every 6 weeks. Fresh food. Proper cooking. High standards.
What you will do
1. Own the food offer and set the pace in the kitchen
2. Write and deliver seasonal menus on a 6-week cycle
3. Train, develop, and retain a tight team
4. Run service with consistency on busy sessions
5. Control GP, labour, and kitchen standards without losing creativity
6. Work closely with the Regional Executive Chef for support and challenge
About you
7. Fresh food, gastro pub background at Head Chef level
8. Calm leadership in a high-volume environment
9. Menu development skills and strong costing discipline
10. A track record of building kitchen culture and standards
11. Exposure to a pub/restaurant group is useful, but not essential
