A friendly and supportive primary school in Formby is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full‑time, long‑term basis.
The RoleYou will be expected to:
1. Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
2. Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons
3. Provide targeted 1:1 and small group intervention
4. Assist with behaviour management and pupil engagement
5. Help maintain a nurturing and positive classroom environment
RequirementsWe’re looking for someone who has:
6. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
7. Strong knowledge of primary education and classroom support
8. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills
9. A patient, proactive and flexible attitude
10. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
