We aim to serve and support those in the local and wider community irrespective of their background. You will help us to develop and deliver a wide range of programme from our Nocq Road Community Centre, which includes a café and charity shop. This role is a genuine opportunity to put something back into your community. As the Community Centre Manager, you will: Be accountable for people related activities Manage an effective volunteer programme Oversee and run all aspects of the community centre including the Charity Shop, Café. Assess community needs; design and deliver appropriate programmes Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, and build strong links with the community Be responsible for ensuring that the building is suitably managed, maintained and equipped Ensure that all visitors to the centre are welcomed, supported, and treated with respect As a Christian Church and charity, you will need a willingness to work within our ethos, and advocate our values.
