Sous Chef – Canary Wharf
We’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen in Canary Wharf, serving Turkish and Levantine cuisine with strong Mediterranean influences.
Work under a great Head Chef and be part of a tight, ambitious team.
The role
* Work closely with the Head Chef on menu development
* Run your sections confidently across the kitchen
* Train and develop junior chefs
* Manage ordering, stock, and kitchen standards
* Maintain high HACCP and health & safety standards
You’ll be hands-on, contributing ideas, and helping shape the kitchen.
What you’ll be cooking
* Turkish and Levantine dishes with bold Mediterranean flavours
* Grill-focused dishes
* Small, evolving menu with room to contribute on breads and desserts
The setup
* 10 chefs in the brigade
* 20–40 covers at lunch, up to 80 at dinner
* Brand-new kitchen
What we need
* Strong all-rounder across sections
* Experience in a premium kitchen
* Confident on the grill
* Comfortable contributing ideas and working closely with the Head Chef
Package & Hours
* 45 hours per week, 5 shifts
* 29 days holiday
* Chef uniform provided
* Immediate start preferred, but we’re happy to wait for the right notice period
