About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join the Chief Executive’s Office and support our Executive Leadership Team. In this role, you will provide high quality administrative and briefing support (including diary and inbox management) to the Executive Director and support them in the delivery of their work on behalf of the wider Combined Authority.


About the Person

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and can use their initiative. You will be able to build effective relationships with key colleagues and partners and manage competing priorities and demands. You will take initiative in resolving issues while handling confidential information with discretion. You will believe in our vision for a fairer, stronger, cleaner city region where no one is left behind.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide high quality administrative and briefing support, including diary and inbox management.
* Support the Executive Director in the delivery of their work for the Combined Authority.
* Build effective relationships with key colleagues and partners.
* Manage competing priorities and demands.
* Take initiative in resolving issues with confidentiality.


Essential Criteria

* Experience of working with senior leaders providing high quality administrative and briefing support.
* High level of organisational skills with a successful record of forward planning, prioritising, and producing work to a high standard.
* Effective communication skills with experience of report writing and presentations.
