Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Field Supervisor to oversee care services within a care home environment, specialising in senior care. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high standards of care, and maintaining effective communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team while ensuring the delivery of personalised care plans in a supportive setting.
Job purpose
Working directly with clients to provide a skilled and sensitive service which provides day-to-day personal assistance and enables the client to maintain independence. Will also supervise and manage the development and performance of carers both in and out of the field.
Duties
* Supervise and support care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to service users.
* Oversee the implementation and review of individualised care plans, ensuring they meet the service users' needs.
* Client liaising: Act as the primary contact for clients, family members and health professionals to coordinate care.
* Conduct regular assessments and monitor the well-being of residents, escalating concerns as necessary.
* Emergency Response: Cover emergency care calls when required.
* Field Staff Management: Mentor and Support Care Workers, offering advice and assisting with complex Cases.
* Maintain clear communication channels between staff, and external healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, client progress, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Assist with administrative tasks using IT systems to record care activities and staff rotas and care plans.
* Drive between different locations or sites as required to support operational needs.
* Be able to do on-call every fortnight.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a senior care role.
* Strong understanding of care plans, health & safety standards, regulatory requirements for domiciliary care.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to diverse audiences including residents' families and healthcare professionals.
* Valid driving licence.
* Knowledge of care plans, health & safety regulations, and compliance standards relevant to senior care settings.
* Proficiency in IT systems for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes.

Qualifications
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
