Job Description
Are you looking for a new challenge in the Not For Profit sector in a newly created role?My client has created this new role as Finance Business Partner due to a recent restructure and growth within the organisation.Reporting to the Head of the department, the FBP will be responsible for;
3. Provide financial insights to support business planning and decision-making processes.
4. Manage and oversee treasury functions, ensuring efficient cash flow and investment management.
5. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyse performance.
6. Prepare and present detailed management reports to senior stakeholders.
7. Support budgeting and forecasting activities across departments.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
9. Collaborate with various teams to drive financial efficiency and value for money.
10. Identify and mitigate financial risks within business operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
11. Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience gained in a similar role/sized organisation
12. Good Management Accounting skills
13. Cashflow management experience.
14. Ideally experience in financial planning, analysis, and treasury management.
15. Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
16. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
17. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
18. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
19. Commitment to working within the not-for-profit sector
