We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Relief Chef to join our culinary team in Guildford, United Kingdom. As a Relief Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations across various locations, ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation and service.
Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards, adhering to our organisation's recipes and guidelines
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety procedures
Collaborate with existing kitchen teams to support daily operations and maintain smooth service
Assist in managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans as needed
Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments, menus, and cooking styles
Support and supervise kitchen staff when required, fostering a positive and efficient work atmosphere
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining food quality and presentation standards
Ideally a recent background with the corporate contract catering sector
Excellent creative culinary skills
Proficiency in food cost management
Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations
Fully flexible i.e. multi-location, multi-unit, multi-time and multi-days
