MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - URGENT Your new company A well-established and fast-growing retail organisation with a pan-European footprint is seeking a TEMP Senior Management Accountant to provide high-level financial support during a critical period. This is a strategic interim role suited to someone with strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead and influence across finance and operational teams. Role Summary You’ll play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting decision-making, and ensuring robust financial control. The position requires a confident, proactive individual who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver insights that shape business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary Own the forecasting and budgeting process across multiple cost centres Provide strategic financial support to senior stakeholders and operational leads Oversee month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Drive improvements in financial reporting, controls, and systems Contribute to cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives Candidate Profile Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or QBE with senior-level experience Strong technical accounting skills and commercial awareness Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/general ledger systems Proven ability to communicate financial insights to senior non-finance stakeholders Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-site environments is highly desirable Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business setting What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rate: £20 – £23 per hour Immediate start required Hybrid working model (2 days in office) Exposure to a pan-European finance structure and strategic projects What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call AJ now on 0117 374 6277.
